Lions Trip to Frankenburg

​A group of Farnham Lions travelled to Frankenberg to spend a few enjoyable days with our twin club Frankenberg Lions. We stayed in the homes of our wonderful hosts, had a guided tour of the local Bad Arolsen castle, picnicked in the beautiful countryside of Kahler Asten a mountain 841,87 m above sea level (winter ski resort),had a memorable dinner in the local hotel and enjoyed a farewell brunch at Hessenstein castle. It was a memorable weekend that combined culture, fun and friendship and strengthened the bond between our two clubs. We are looking forward to welcoming our friends to Farnham in 2026.
