Last Saturday saw our first fete of the summer at Churt Recreation Ground.
It was a beautiful sunny day and lots of families came out to enjoy the event.
The fete had a fantastic family atmosphere and lots of children were enthusiastically trying to Splat The Rat or get Frogs in the Clogs at our stall.
Lions President Simon said ‘It was great to see so many smiling faces, laughter and community spirit which is what English summer fetes are all about!’
A big thank you to everyone who attended and visited our stall and to the organisers, it was a lovely afternoon.
We are looking forward to many more summer events in the weeks ahead.
