Nine members of the Farnham Lions Club braved the heat to take part in this year’s clearance of overseas students unwanted possessions at the University of Creative Arts in Farnham on June 23rd 2006. 

Event organiser Lion Tony Rice thanked all the club members who played their part in the clearance and he added that, ‘We are grateful for this annual co-operation between the UCA and Farnham Lions. We had a van full of bags of quality possessions which make no sense for the overseas students to take home, but which will benefit the needy in our local communities.

The goods will be distributed by the Lions Community Store, Hale Community Centre and Brambleton Community Centre and St Marks Church in Upper Hale.
