Farnham Lions have raised an impressive £4,700 for charity through the annual Golf Day held at Hindhead Golf Club.

The event brought together golfers and sponsors for an enjoyable sunny day in August on the beautiful course at Hindhead, helping to raise funds for Headroom, a local charity supporting young people, parents and families.

The cheque was received on behalf of the charity by Sue Dawson and Sue Dorrington and all the funds will be used to support their valuable work.

Farnham Lions would like to thank everyone who took part in the Golf Day, as well as the organisers and sponsors and of course Hindhead Golf Club whose generosity made this day possible.

Next year is the 30^th anniversary of the Lions Golf day so a very special day indeed. The event will be held on Thursday 26th August 2027 and will again be held at the wonderful Hindhead Golf Club.
