Cider & Sausage Festival

Farnham Lions Cider & Sausage festival is back on Saturday the 15th of August in Gostrey Meadow.

There will be two sessions, so something for everyone to join in and have fun. From 12 till 4pm the event focuses on children and families (under 12’s are free), with competitions and entertainment on the stage, Jake’s Circus, face painting and other stalls. From 5 till 9pm it’s over 18’s only, with live bands to get you dancing and creating that festival atmosphere!

This year we are proud to announce our headline act, Kit Trigg – a band that was formed just a stone’s throw from the festival site, who are now taking their surf-rock power to stages across the UK. Drawing influence from the likes of The Rolling Stones, Reef and Beastie Boys, the trio deliver classic rock sounds for the present day, oozing with cool charisma and positivity.

Our main support band is the TR5’s, one of Surrey’s best kept secrets, who musically sit somewhere between The Cavern Club and Canvey Island. They have been ripping up stages for over two years, capturing hearts and minds with their highly charged blend of 50’s skiffle and early 60’s rock ‘n’ roll! Their charismatic and energetic stage show is perfect for this event.

Our famous sausage competition will be run throughout the day giving everyone the opportunity to vote for their favourite local sausage, cooked by our very own team of chefs!

There will be plenty of varied food on offer, a full bar serving lagers, beers, spirits, prosecco and pimms, two local cider producers and our own Farnham Lions cider tent.

This is definitely a summer event not to missed…….
