Community Support

Our mission is to deliver meaningful support where it matters most—opening doors for children, easing pressures on families, empowering charities, and strengthening community groups. We are committed to providing timely, practical help that creates opportunities, fosters connection, and makes a real difference in people’s lives.

Who We Have Helped

Grant Application Process

We’ve designed our grant application process to be as simple and supportive as possible. If you have any questions about applying or follow up queries please use the email address below.

How to Apply

Applications must be submitted by a recognised referrer, such as a school liaison contact, social worker, or local community organisation. Support is available only for residents of the Farnham community.

Applications are sent directly to our applications mailbox applications@farnhamlions.org.uk .

What Happens Next

We generally respond within 48 hours and will provide a form if one is not included. We may request additional information from the referrer to give each applicant the best possible chance of success.

Review and Decision

  • At the beginning of each month: Applications are reviewed by our community team.
  • If supported, the grant application is shared with all club members.
  • At the end of each month: Members vote at the business meeting to make the final decision on each application.

Outcome Notification

The Referrer will be notified by email the following day. If the application is approved, we will arrange for the grant to be fulfilled.

What Referrers have said

“The online application was simple and straightforward to complete, and we were kept in touch with our application’s progress.”
