Fetes and Tea Tents raised £3,500

During the spring and summer our members could be found at village fetes throughout Farnham, setting up our children’s games and laying out a fantastic spread of homemade cakes.

At RAF Odiham Family Day our tea tent also included delicious bacon and sausage baps, cooked by our own chefs on the barbeque and sold out by lunchtime.

We had so much fun organising these community events, children enjoying our Splat the Rat and Frog in a Clog games, live music from the fairground, stalls all round the green and chatting with families enjoying a fun day out.

Every cup of tea poured, every slice of cake eaten helped to contribute to our final total. By the end of our fete season we raised £3,500, all of which will go directly towards supporting local individuals, charities and community projects.

So, a huge thank you to all the fete organisers who welcomed Farnham Lions and to everyone in the community who stopped by our stall to play a game or enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of cake.

We look forward to seeing every one again in 2026!
